About
Impact the World Foundation

Impact the World aims to serve individuals, communities and organizations with a highly innovative and boldly magnanimous approach that aims to challenge the way the world closes gaps in society and uplifts the marginalized and underserved in a way that is enlightening and equitable.

Our promise is to EQUIP, ENABLE, and ENCOURAGE people to be the best they can be.

WHY WE CARE

Every person deserves a chance to become the best they can be. However, in today’s world, there are many intentional and unintentional barriers that don’t allow many to achieve their full potential. Barriers exist throughout society, including education, employment, housing, health, an appropriate investment in our children, and community outreach. This is most clearly manifested in the disenfranchised, marginalized, underserved, and underrepresented communities where opportunities are not often available.

For over 50 years, the United States has failed to finish above 20th in science and math among 80 of its international peer countries.1 Research shows only 35 percent of fourth graders are reading at or above grade level while 64 percent of eighth graders are reading below grade level.2 When we consider health and fitness, 1 in every 5 deaths in America can be attributed to heart disease and other cardiovascular complications.3 There is no state in the union with an obesity rate under 20% with 12 states over 30%.4 Healthcare costs have skyrocketed to about $4.5 trillion or $13k per person.5 These unhealthy habits and deleterious consequences start in childhood. There are over 6500 food deserts across America where fresh fruits and vegetables are not available or very costly when available, leading to a detrimental reliance on processed foods.6

Impact the World was founded with one mission: To execute large-scale, bold, revolutionary, and systemic paradigm shifts to transform one’s mindset and to facilitate the removal of these barriers and the provision of opportunity for all.

Impact the World’s approach is to focus on people and their potential. By believing that no matter what one’s past or current life situation, each person deserves the opportunity to maximize their potential.
